This is a 280 SL with a ZF 5 Speed Gearbox, there were very few of them produced. It is the opinion of Mercedes Canada that ZF 5 speeds were never shipped to North America, due to US pollution control standards.

Study the photos carefully, the car is not perfect. Ask questions.

Successful bidder will deposit 5% into the sellers's account within 48 hours. Full payment within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will assist where possible.

Car is listed elsewhere so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.

Auto is sold in good faith. However it is used and no warranty is offered or expressed. Buyer is expected to be knowledgeable and aware of the conditions of buying collector cars.

Considering the 5 speed gearbox and the quality of this SL, the reserve is very reasonable. There were only about 400 of these cars produced with 5 speed transmissions. It is unlikely you will find another ZF 5 speed SL.Contact me for more info.
