Before you and up for bid at NO RESERVE is my 1993 Mercedes Benz 300TE Wagon (W124 Estate). I am thorough in my description for the benefit of all potential buyers. The particulars of the 300TE are as follows:
* Senior ownership car. While the CARFAX reports 4 owners, I'm informed that this was two separate families. The first family purchased it new with use relegated to central Florida winters, and SC/Michigan summers during 17 years.The second was retired military in South Florida, they drove the car approximately 22K miles.
* Garaged and pampered non-smoker, no pets.
* CARFAX certified, (in hand) NO ACCIDENT history!
* Low miles, the car just turned 142K.
* It's not that the 300 TE is clean, it has never really been allowed to get dirty. In advance of the sale, recent service included fresh fluids, filters, trans. service, brake service, battery and full detail.
* Very desirable last year of the model. These wagons have somewhat of a cult following. Their reputation is one for exceptional safety, comfort and reliability.
* 3.2 Liter inline 6 cylinder engine, 217 HP. Adequate performance when needed while still returning 18 city and 22 hwy. mpg.
* Ice Cold AC
* 4 speed automatic transmission, shifts smoothly throughout the range.
* All standard Mercedes Benz appointments, including:
* Power Locks
* Power Mirrors

* Factory Becker AM/FM/Cassette Stereo

* Nice leather wrapped steering wheel w/power extension
* Dual Power Seats, 2 passenger driver side memory settings
* MB tex upholstery, very good throughout, the secondary row was seldom sat upon
* Optional 3rd row jump seat retracts into the floor
* All gaskets and weather stripping is soft and pliable.
* Excellent carpets throughout, original MB floor mats and all weather mats (see pics)
* Very good door panels
* Perfect Dash, NO CRACKS!
* Very good glass throughout, Llumar (28%) metal base tint
* All safety and comfort features are fully operational.
* Excellent heat/defrost all fan speeds are all operable.
* All buttons, knobs, stalks and switches are present
* Nice console with non-broken lid access, wood accents
* Excellent seat belts and sun visors
* All gauges and monitor warning lights are fully operational including the clock
* Neither owners were smokers, however, a service facility employee caused a small burn to the upper driver seat back. (see pic) As mentioned, the secondary seats were seldom used and generally folded down, the same pertains to the third row.
* All windows roll up and down properly from the center console and their respective doors. NO deteriorated window channel gaskets
* The doors lock and unlock properly either by key or manually
* All factory emblems and badges are present
* Nice grill
* Almost entirely original paint, the excellent reflection seen in the hood is indicative of the finish over the entire car. (see pics)
* All 4 tires match, they have approximately 50% tread wear remaining. The spare is full size. All 4 aluminum wheels are in good condition with only slight scratches.
* Both the hood and rear hatch strut cartridges fully extend and hold firmly.
* Original first aid kit, jack and lug wrench. Extras include a small tool kit, wheel chock and jumper cables. In addition, there are assorted preventive maintenance parts that will be included with the sale.
* Emergency brake holds firm
* All original books, some service records and 2 keys
At 26 model years of age, the 300TE wagon is vault solid. It looks, runs and drives great! It just completed a 1400 mile round trip to Tennessee for the holidays.
While not perfect, the car is very clean and in remarkable condition. It is a testament to the care it has received during the course of its life.
Nice Estate Wagons are becoming increasingly difficult to source. In most states, the car is now classified as a classic, (25 yrs.) and eligible for antique/classic plates.

A $1000.00 initial payment is due and payable within 24 hours of auction close VIA PayPal. NO Exceptions!
The balance is to then be paid within 7 days thereafter under condition and arrangement made between myself and the buyer. The balance is to be paid VIA a legitimate bank to bank wire transfer, as it provides a documented record of the transaction for both parties.
If you are to fly in and drive home, or arrive to trailer the car for yourself, I will accept cash in person for the balance provided that it is done so within the 7 days of auction close window.
Clear Florida title. The title and the car will not be released until payment in full has been received. Upon receipt of payment in full, I will overnight VIA FEDEX, the title and bill of sale to the new owner. If you are to fly in, I will offer the option of hand delivering these to you upon your arrival. If you require additional time to schedule your travel arrangements, I will work with you to keep the car secure provided that it has been paid for in full.

I have represented the 300TE accurately, honestly and to the best of my knowledge.
