- All sorted out with no mechanical issues. Can be used as a daily driver.- Over $15k invested to get it to excellent condition. Also lowered on H&R springs.- Most W126 coupes, even the high priced ones, have engine issues that need to be addressed and all have problems lurking underneath the hood that require time and $$$.- Driven on weekends only.- Tires are like new and drives like new at surface and freeway speeds.- A/C blows ice cold with no problems instantly cooling the car even in the AZ summer.- Original paint in excellent condition and shines to a high gloss- Waxed and detailed every month with clay bar paint decontamination every quarter.- I am not a dealer. IMPORTANT:
- Despite everything listed above, this is still an almost 30 year old vehicle and as such do not expect a new car. Issues do pop-up with older vehicles and that's just part of ownership with such cars.- The paint is in outstanding condition but it does have minor chips and dings all around. Nothing that is noticeable however if you were standing a few feet away.- Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. An ebay auction is a binding sale and not an opportunity to come kick the tires once the auction has ended and you are the winning bidder. Failure to complete the transaction after a winning bid will not only result in ebay notification but also legal action.- I am happy to have the car inspected through an ebay inspection service.
