1956 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class convertible Additional Info:
CHASSIS# 121042 5500682ENG # 121 921 5500342A 1955 Mercedes 190SL Roadster. Number 682 in the production line. (DB- 158) White Grey with a black leather interior. The car is 1955 but title says 1956. I been told from the previous owner that it has 76,000 original miles. Very rare early style gullwing seats and original Solexes.Two owner car from new. Twenty five years ago a restoration project was initiated by the second owner, but after the car was taken apart, nothing was done.
The car seems to be complete but only comes with what you can see in the pictures, including new floors and soft top frame.
An extremely original and a very early car to restore, getting harder to find. It comes with clean and clear title with owner’s manual, Bill Of Sale from the second owner when he bought it in 1985 along with glove box original clock which works. The original engine and gearbox was out the car but we just installed for the transportation only.
