1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Base Sedan 4-Door Additional Info:

As shown, I am selling my 1984 300SD. I have put a lot of time and love into this car, but it's time for me to move on. I now live in an apartment complex, so I don't have a good space to work on it. It runs well and is a fun car to drive, but there are indeed a number of little nagging things that need to be repaired.
First the good stuff:
  • Recent service including oil change and new air filter
  • New starter
  • New oil pan (someone had stripped the drain nut), drain plug, and oil pan gasket
  • New hood release
  • New driver's door stop mechanism
  • Front seats' power adjustments work - MB Tex is in good condition though the seats are a tad "assed out"
  • Various spare & replacement parts
  • Brakes are totally solid. Tires have good tread
  • Engine and transmission feel solid
  • Recent battery (10/2014)
  • CLEAN COLORADO TITLE

Now the bad:
  • Gas gauge is psychotic (but the odometer works, so I use that to gauge when it's time to fill up) - most likely needs new sender
  • Trim is so-so. Dash is good, but there's some sort of glue as shown. Wood trim is deteriorating.
  • Window trim shows signs of sun damage
  • Two windows (front passenger and rear driver side) don't work
  • Blower motor is inop
  • Instrument cluster lights don't work (all exterior headlights and markers work)
  • Radio does not work

Overall, this is a great car to get back and forth to work for say the next six months while you save for a down payment (which is why I bought it). It will suck to drive in cold weather if the blower isn't fixed, but otherwise is in fair to good condition. I've driven it to Denver numerous times with no issues.
