1969 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:
This is a great 280se Mercedes with just over 125,000 original miles. It runs great with no leaks and no smoke. The suspension is tight and it drives wonderfully with the desirable floor shift automatic transmission. The original radio and power antennae works, as well as all the windows and air conditioning. The interior is good with nice wood and original carpet that looks nearly new. The headliner has been repaired in the back where it came out of the rear window seal and tore, but the rest is in good shape. The chromed alloy wheels look fair, but some of the chrome is pitting and flaking off (see pictures). Great tires with very little wear and new battery The original paint was sun faded and it was recently repainted to the original color. The paint is very nice. This car was owned by a reputable Mercedes mechanic who kept it well maintained. The clear title still has the name of his garage on it. This would be a great reliable driver. I had this car listed last week, but an individual from Poland bid and failed to pay or to even communicate. Therefor, I am restricting the bidding to the US only, unless a bidder from outside the US has a good e-bay record of buying and/or selling and communicates via email after placing a bid. I can hold the car for up to 30 days at no charge. The buy it now price is well below the market value for this model Mercedes in this condition, and the starting bid is extremely low.
