1987 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Roadster Additional Info:

1987 MB 560 SL. 135K Miles. 3rd owner. Year and half ago had a "down to bare metal" repaint in original color. Absolutely spectacular shape. Champagne w brown leather interior. Brown top. Runs and drives like a true German built tank. Everything works. Simply stunning car. Not much to say about her as she is near perfect. Original tool kit, original first aid kit, lots of original documentation. This car has been invited to the Greenwich Concours D'Elegance for the last 4 years.

The Bad: two minor issues, very small crack on the dash in the usual location and shift knob is slightly worn.
No Ugly.
This a three owner car. The last owner purchased the car for his wife. She drove it very little, had it parked out side an upscale restaurant in Westport, CT and someone slashed the soft top and stole her purse. She refused to drive from that point on. The top was replaced. The current owner has had her for over 10 years.
In CT, vehicles over 20 years old are not titled and are sold on a Bill of Sale/Q1 transfer of ownership form and the old registration, all of which will be provided and signed over upon payment in full.
