1972 350SL The original owner purchased the car in Europe during a vacation. Shipped back to the U.S and drove it for many years. It was sold to the 2nd owner some time in the early 90’s. If I understand correctly, it was intended to be a anniversary present. That did not go as planned and I became the 3rd owner of the car via an Ebay auction.Odometer is in Kilometers per hour not miles per hour. Left hand drive, 3-speed auto shift on the floor. All gauges work, except the clock. After market CD/radio. Overall the car is a 7.5 to 8+. Runs great. Starts every time. Great handling! It has the small V-8 engine, about 215 CID. There is plenty of power.The body is in good to excellent shape. No major dents, bangs or bruises. The issues with the car are; plastic windows on convertible top must be replace. Cloth top requires some moderate re-stitching, otherwise in very serviceable shape. There is an intermittent problem with the interior lights. Dash lights are not operating at this time.
