Superb Mercedes 2.3-16 with original Cosworth engine
Here is the car that pushed BMW to manufacture the M3 E30 in 1986
I have been the proud owner for the last 15 years and this car has been meticulously maintained.Not been out in the winter for at least 20 years.Passed a mechanical inspection of the SAAQ 2 years ago (state inspection)
Engine was rebuilt in full when I bought the car in 2003 at 175,000km
All accessories work like newexcept heater. Blower motor works fine tho

-Bilstein sport front shocks
-HR cup kit at the rear (shock + springs)
-Front LCA poly bushings from Hedgehog tuning
-Megasquirt 2 EFI
-Wideband sensor and gauge
-MSD streetfire CDI ignition box
-Modified intake (runners 2" shorter and plenum 2" taller for 4.6L plenum volume, better mid and top end power)
-billet mechanical timing chain tensioner
-Bolt pattern changed to 5*114.3 and using ARP studs (not bolts anymore) can easily be changed back to 5*112
-Wheels: XXR 530 17*8.25 ET35. Note: there is no rubbing at all
-3.07 diff from euro model + speedo calibrated
-euro headlights-euro tachometer
- radioJVC, CD MP3 + speakers
-Custom 2.5” exhaust, Magnaflow heavy metal cat, vibrant ultra quiet resonator and custom built glass pack muffler (muffler has cracked and has been welded tho) sounds nice but doesn’t disturb the whole neighborhood either.
-custom laser cut aluminum dash inserts painted satin black to replace wood. Possible to put it back original if buyer wants that. wood was in good condition, no cracks. also have stock stereo.
-Not shown: will come with 300TE brakes & braided lines (4 piston front and vented rears)
-intake phenolic spacers (heat barrier)-Functional lap timer included in the sale (it's stored securely in a box in the garage)

Very powerful engine, about 200hp and very nervous compared to the original car.Super pleasant to drive.
Not a show car, it's a drivers car, daily driven in the summer months. Car modified tastefully for sportscar enthusiast, no AC, no cruise control, no ABS.
No rust.Original painting on the vast majority of the car but would need a new paint to be perfect as you can see some minor defects on the pictures. Body is otherwise very good, no rust.
Original leather interior, extremely clean but does show some age .Brand new shifter knob/boot installed few weeks ago.
