For sale is a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. I have owned this car for a number of years with great pleasure and delight. It is always fun to ride through town and have people stare with the look of nostalgia on there faces.
Here are the particulars:Pros1) The car runs well. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts and pulls as expected.(Most important part of the car is the power train).2) The tires are in good condition and I have three spare tires and rims with will convey3) The over all condition of the interior is good given the year, (although a good cleaning is in order).4) All of the lights work properly5) The brakes are in good working condition6) The car has been serviced ie oil and filters changed.7) The sunroof works properly
Cons1) The a/c doesn't blow cold2) There are rust spots on the car3) The door locks only work manually4) The paint needs to be refurbished
Final analysis, this is a nice car for someone looking for an inexpensive first or second car, a collector looking to refurbish this car to it's past glory, or anyone just looking to have fun!!!
