This airport tug was restored before I bought it in 2008. It is equipped with a stainless steel Fisher 9'6" V-plow and is powered by a 5.7 liter, 352 6-cylinder Mercedes Benz diesel engine, a 6-speed manual transmission with a torque converter option, which I believe to be typical of airport tugs. This truck has 32,000 +/- miles and 2,900 +/- hours. It is equipped with hydraulic connections and a PTO with controls at the driver's seat. Locking portal axels are standard on all Unimog's front and rear. The entire cab has been insulated to reduce noise. A Webasto engine pre-heating system (dbw46 diesel) can warm the truck engine, passenger compartment, and battery box up to operating temperature before the main engine is started. The interior has been fitted with fabric headliner, front and rear vinyl seats, and seatbelts. A 15,000 pound winch is attached to the rear frame and bumper. Don't be fooled by it's good looks, this is a work truck! Top speed is 52 mph. Will deliver within 200 miles of Southern Vermont in USA only.
