A rare 1959 Mercedes Benz 190 Sedan (Ponton - Gas). Good daily driver, runs great, shifts fine. Exterior is in great shape with recent paint. The interior was recovered with actual '50s fabric. It includes a matching pull over seat cover to protect new seats (see passenger seat in photos). New steering wheel with a re-chromed horn ring; all instruments work except the electric clock. Heat works good and both fans still work (rare!). Mechanically in great shape with rebuilt original starter and rebuilt original generator, full recent tune up (valve adjust, points, cap, rotor, and wires), rebuilt fuel pump. New clutch, flex disc, brakes, rebuilt cylinders, new wheel bearings, axle seals, and the tires are new. Includes the original spare tire and jack. New MB windshield with new seal, new rear window and truck lid seals; so it's good to go in the rain.
All serial numbers match the birth certificate from MB; engine, body, even the keys; all original running gear. Odometer reads about 60,000 miles. Lots of spare parts too. It is a real head turner and a blast to drive. 4-speed manual on the tree! It was a barn-find in Kansas.
