Highly Original with Great Documentation
All original Floors in Excellent Condition

A very well preserved three-owner car with full history since new. A binder full of original documentation including the window sticker, first registration and receipts from 1967 when the car was sold new in Atlanta, GA until 2013.
The car benefited a quality re-spray in 1985 and had also the convertible top replaced at the same time. Both top and paint looks like they were done last year. That is how careful the last owner took care of the car.
The history of the car it was sold new by RBM of Atlanta, Inc to Mr. James P. Highsmith. First registration was June 29, 1967. Mr. Highsmith drove and maintained the car for the first 40,000 miles. He sold the car in the spring of 1971 to Mr. Eulei Antony Dominy Jr. He kept the car until the end of 1972 when he passed on the car to Mr. Ernie Gaspard, an interior designer whom he owned money to. The Mercedes was used to settle the debt to Mr. Gaspard. The car was then used very little and eventually ended up in storage until the mid-80s when Mr. Gaspard decided to pull out the car from storage and give the car a well-deserved major service, and a new paint, and convertible top replacement. He used the car very carefully until his death in 2010. Mr. Gaspard had no children so his nephew Mr. Stephen D. Rone and his wife Mary Ann inherited the car. It is now for the first time in nearly 40 years offered for sale. It has now 95,000 actual miles. A solid Georgia car that never had any rust ever.
The car is equipped with - Fuel injected 6 cylinder engine with desirable automatic transmission with floor shift. Power steering, front and rear disk power brakes. Vertical adjusting hydro-pneumatic compensated rear suspension. Factory installed seat belts. Dealer installed Kuhlmeister A/C that works great. Original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM radio. Beautiful original wood, leather and wool carpet interiorcustom
