1965 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Additional Info:

This survivor has been in the same family since 1980. It received a fresh paint respray in 1980 in the original color. The leather has been replaced whenever it was needed and spare leather from the same hide is included for any future needs. The original Kuhlmeister AC is complete but not currently working. It leaks freon from the compressor. The only other thing not working is the horn. The soft top was replaced fairly recently and looks new. After 37 years (always garaged) the paint is showing it's age and should be resprayed if you want to continue to show it. It looks great from 10 feet but not up close. There are several stone chips and a couple of very small dents where a bicycle fell on it in the garage. Engine compartment has not been detailed but is decent. Trunk is great and tires look good but are getting old. The car is shown fairly regularly in local shows but is driven whenever I am in the mood. It's never been on a trailer. I will be happy to answer any questions I can and will take phone calls or texts between 9am and 11pm EDT. 904-327-4047
