Ebay will not except the European Vin# for this car and in order to list it, I had to select the model year 1980. The Actual Vin is ( WDB12303312112698 ) and the car is a 1983 Model. Please see photo the vehicle registration.
This is a EURO spec 1983 280e model imported to the USA in 1986. Silver with blue/black cloth interior. It is fitted is factory non-tinted thermal glass all round, as a result the cloth interior and dashboard are in near perfect condition.
The car has 190,000 miles and absolutely no rust. It has manual window cranks, Manual type II climate control. The sunroof is electric. It has ABS brakes. This vehicle has the 4 speed automatic transmission coupled to a lively twin cam 6 cylinder engine unspoiled by US Emissions requirements of the mid 80's Yet is still passes thru emissions here in AZ.
I would consider this to be an excellent driver quality car. With a little bit of elbow grease this could be a great show car. All of the euro spec bumpers and lights are in excelent condition. Other than one spot on the drivers seat, the upholstry is nearly mint. The dash and surrounds are very nice. Take a close look at the pictures and please........If you have questions, Ask!
I have listed this car for the owner who has moved back to Australia. For the last two years this car has been in my possession for storage and monthly excursions . I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country.
