1965 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300 SEL 6.3 Additional Info:

Very Rare Pre-Production 6.3 Mercedes 300 SEL. This 6.3 was a hand built Euro spec example of a car that was later released. The later version only had 300 HP this particular one is a 400hp version. The Car was originally delivered in Italy and imported to the us as a 1967.(there were no us 6.3 built for US in 1965) Currently registered as a 1965. The present owner has owned it for 20 years. It has stored inside and at a minimum started regularly. You can see the original color at the gas cover picture it was a grey color with brown corduroy interior. With the exceptions of color and interior it is original including the Magnesium wheels and euro gauges in kilometers and litre's. There has been no body repair to this vehicle for the length of the current owner and looks like none previous.
