1982 Mercedes Benz g wagen G 460 230GE

1982 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Additional Info:

1982 import from Germany via the UK pretty original G460 G wagen. Not been hacked about, infact fairly / very original. Mostly all seems to work, even has Aircon from what appears to be factory.Don't know if it blows cold, but it works from what I see. Transfer case diff locks are manual on this model. Levers are tight and I don't want to do any damage so left as is.... the controls probably need freeing off from lack of use.Paint is pretty low to average, has repairs in both rear quarters. a little rust on one door. Roof paint is rough, the whole thing would benefit from a paint job, but far from essential. some panels are probably original paint, to be frank, these things looks better in average lived in condition...it is after all, not a G63.
Vehicle has 2.3 4 cylinder gas motor. believe fuel injection. Starts very well. Power steering functions, as do all (4) gears when selected. Stops and goes pretty well. Haven't had it on the highway.
Not under any pressure to sell, Infact, happy to keep this one really, I like the hand built classic to retro feel of it.
