1987 Mercedes Benz 560SL Excellent Running Example Rare Options

Up is another wonderful low mileage Mercedes Benz 560SL. Finished in a rare but striking #877-Petrol Green with Cream Beige interior color in leather. Odometer is 81155 or so at this listing but will likely go up just a little. Yes the odometer is working and have some limited documentation supporting the miles and believed to be actual.

This example has the full list of standard features as came from the factory such as power windows, door locks, climate control (heat works, a/c is cool not cold. Too cold to recharge), cruise control, power antenna (works), etc. Also, stock radio has been replaced with a more modern CD model. This car does have the rare heated seat option.

The car also has original owners manual, tool roll, first aid kit, and top tools. VIN tags on all applicable panels, so no issues on export. Tires are new this year and have about 1k miles on them. Also exhaust system has been replaced from the manifolds back including muffler. Full size spare is there with good rubber. The very expensive and in excellent condition real sheepskin covers are included and installed. No rust on this car, jack points are clean and clear. All lights are free of cracks and operational.

Overall this is clean and well maintained auto. No hesitations on startup or driving, drives straight and true. Excellent driver in my opinion. It has a couple very minor flaws that keep this from being a $20k car, but could be done to make this an investment grade auto to drive and what it appreciate. The seats are a little dry, but in decent shape but for the wear on the drivers bolster. Minor dash cracks as shown. Appears drivers side fender has been repainted and is not concours in quality. Passenger fender has touch up paint on a scratch and small over polish mark on hood. Top is in excellent shape, but no hardtop included. IF you want a hardtop, we have a SILVER one available for $500 if desired.
