We have a very detailed spreadsheet of the service history that was provided by the previous owner.
A few of the most recent and notable items are: new Michelin tires at 229,740 miles, alignment at 229,935 miles, new battery at 225,033 miles, new alternator at 224,207 miles, new hood pad and oil guage tube at 220,365, new brake booster at 219,000 miles, $2650 A/C upgraded to R134with new compressor at 218,937 miles, new rear brakes and rotors, tie rods and alignment at 218,937 miles, new headliner in July 2011, new glow plugs at 207,479 miles, etc.
Here's the big ticket and most important stuff:
At 214,032 miles a new engine block was ordered from Metric in California for $6525. It was installed along with a new radiator, fan clutch, idler pulley, radiator hoses, motor mounts, vacuum pump, water pump, etc for a total cost of $11,594.
At 210,807 miles a rebuilt transmission and torque converter were purchased and installed with shifter bushings, transmission mounts, exhaust hangers for a total cost of $2487.
No expense was spared while preparing this vehicle mechanically.
Now the vehicle is ready to be driven and enjoyed or could need some body and paint finishing and a few minor interior details to take to the shows.
