1987 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series black Additional Info:
You are bidding on a 1987 Mercedes 300D 124 body style, the famous sporty diesel mercedes sedan of the time. Zero rust. Runs and drives. An better and upgraded Mercedes 300D Cylinder head with the "016" number on the side was rebuilt and replace the the old cylinder head about 5000 miles ago..New Hydraulic valve tappets were installed.. As a result, the engine runs very quietly and smoothly for a Mercedes 300D. I am selling this car because I no longer need it. I have too many cars. This car will run and drive, and will need tender love and care. For being this old, this car will need to work on to make it look glorious again. Paint on car is faded due to being parked outside. Has oil leak from being this old. May just simply needs some gaskets and seals. Transmission works but will need seals. Fuel injection pump will need new seals or o-rings. Interior is worn for its age as well. The plus side is that this car has a nice working sunroof. A nicely rebuilt upgraded Mercedes 300D cylinder head with new hydraulic lifters is worth a couple of thousand dollars. You can use this cylinder head on your car's engine block or rebuild the bottom half of this engine to have a complete engine rebuilt top and bottom. This car runs and drivesA rebuilt and upgraded upgraded alternator was put in for better performance. Due to its age and conditions, I am selling this Mercedes 300D as a restoration project or as a part car. No expressed or implicit warranty on the transaction. Ask questions and inspection of car are recommended. Thank you for looking. $500 deposit is required immediately after winning auction.
