1969 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Additional Info:
If you don't want lots of attention don't buy this car. People tell me how much they admire the car and always ask questions. Car passed both California and Illinois emission tests. Mileage is mostly from highway driving back and forth between California and Illinois and has always been garaged. My dad purchased the vehicle in 1972 from an individual who bought the car in Germany. When my dad could no longer drive he gave the vehicle to me in the late nineties and I drove it to Illinois. The car is a true German vehicle with custom cloth seat covers over vinyl upholstery, ood dash and window trim, ealer installed air conditioning, ool kit and jack, lus two dealer manuals and owner manuals in German and English. Since I have owned the car I have had installed a new windshield, fuel pump, oses and belts, power steering pump, alogen headlights, xhaust system and a rear axle booster spring to stiffen the rear suspension so the wheels don't lean inward. The body and frame are solid with minor rust as verified by the last state inspection report attached. This German model is much more attractive than the American export model. The car color was changed before my dad purchased it by professionals according to mechanics who have worked on the vehicle. I want a smaller second car and my wife insists I sell the Mercedes before I can get a replacement. Terms are FOB Glen Allen, irginia, ayment terms cash or certified check.
