Up for sale is a 1988 420SEL. It has many new parts and was restored earlier this year. This car is 100% road ready and looks excellent.
Body has 150k, ngine has only 100k. Have all receipts and paperwork to prove engine work and mileage.
New paint job earlier this year with PPG paint. The chrome bumper trims and grill were color matched. This was not just a quick respray.
Suspension has been gone through and it has new ball joints, ie rod ends, hocks and springs. Lowered on H&R springs.
New brake pads and rotors.
It has a new exhaust from the exhaust manifold back (new catalytic converter also).
Tranny rebuild before it was parked back in 2013.
A/C blows cold. Heater blows hot.
Brand new fuel pump and fuel injection system.
Brand new tires on E55 AMG rims color coded to match car. These are original Mercedes wheels not replicas. (Front - 245/40/18 Pirelli P7 Cinturato & Rear - 285/35/18 Pirelli P Zero Nero). Wheel centers are black with chrome Mercedes emblem.
The Palomito interior is in great shape for its age. There are no tears on the seats or door panels.
It has an upgraded Pioneer radio. All gauges work as they should.
All maintenance is up to date car runs as it did back in 1988. Have tons of maintenance receipts as well as original books and manuals that come with the car as well.
