1980 mercedes-benz 280e BAD TRANSMISSION

1980 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 280E Additional Info:

This Mercedes was used as a weekend car before the second owner took it and let it sit for a while in his yard. It has very low miles, just over 130K. The interior is a 9/10 for a 36 year old car, only has one piece of trim that needs gluing down. No rips or tears in the leather. The wheels are original and it has no passenger mirror from the factory, which is why there isn't one in the pictures. The engine turns on a dime, is not seized, and there are no knocks whatsoever, it is just a bit rusty on the manifolds and air intake above the carburetor. Went to put it into gear and nothing happens other than neutral. The A/C blows, but not cold, it would need to be recharged at a shop since it is R12 or you can do an R134a conversion. In every respect, this car is great for its year, small rust spots on the trunk and front driver fender, but that's it. Please call or email for more info. Title in hand. Thanks!
