1965 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 1965 250S W108 Additional Info:

1965 Mercedes Benz 250S Sedan First year of W108 Body Style.

This car was running excellently until ignition switch malfunctioned.

Switch was replaced, and spring return part of switch broke 2-3 months later.

Car was taken off the road and put into storage. It was last driven in 2009.

The storage unfortunately had some sun exposure, as noticed by the seat

seam stiches splitting, and some of the wood drying out. There is limited

body rust as attested to by the pictures provided. The end caps are good,

except for some rust showing on one. There is a small amount of rust on

the front fender bottoms. The trunk, tire wells, and undercarriage all appear

in good condition. The paint is faded, but I believe could be brought back to

good driver condition with appropriate wax and elbow grease. The motor still

turns. Glass is all good. Chrome is in decent condition. Most of interior is

presentable. The rugs need to be dyed. All systems will need to be gone

through after years of storage. With proper attention to what this car needs,

it would once again make a very nice car to drive.

There is no title with this car, as Maine is a non-title state for older vehicles.

There is however an older Maine Registration being provided to show proper

ownership, etc.

This vehicle is being sold as is where is. With no warranties given or implied

The transportation arrangements and costs thereof are the sole responsibility

I will try to be available for questions. Please ask all questions before bidding.

Serious bidders please.
