Rust free 1979 Rx-7 that I purchased last month. A 12a motor withgood compression has been put in to replace the original 12athat originally came in the car. The paint is very faded, the seats and dash need attention. It is an automatic 3 speed transmission. The car starts and runs, but it has to warm up for a long time (even on very hot days) before it will drive. I know this is a carburetor/ intake issue because I put a spare two barrel carb and intake on this car and it didn't need to warm up at all. Currently it has an older Nikki carb on it possible from an Rx-3? The tires are a bit old and have some cracking, but the tread on them is good. The car has had very recent brake work so the brakes are pretty decent. One of the door panels is from an 1980 rx-7, but I have the other original panel that is in rough shape and will include it. The car doesn't smoke at all. It does need a muffler, as right now it has the stock exhaust manifold, cat, and midpipe so its a tad loud. The body is in goodshape other than the dent on the passenger side behind the rear wheel whichyou can see in the photo. Feel free to ask any questions or if you prefer pictures of something specific please ask. I am only selling this because shortly after I bought I came across a red 1980 rx-7 and bought it because I just like the red over the silver. That's my only reason for not hanging on to it. Thanks
