1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Additional Info:

Up for grabs is a solid, bone stock NA MX-5. It runs and drives very well and as you may already know, it's a blast!
-Factory no A/C and no cruise. It's about as bare bones as it can get. It's a radio delete away from being just about right. This car is begging for some AutoX and track days!
-New radiator and hoses
-Very solid and clean. No major rust anywhere. The only rust I've found is some surface rust around the battery and another spot under the hood under the master cylinder. No evidence of a current brake fluid leak. The car has been in the south its whole life.
-The shifter feels like a bolt-action rifle and the steering is super responsive.
Of course the car isn't without fault being 25 years old and all.
-Cluster has been replaced. I was told from the previous owner that this was done because of a faulty oil pressure gauge. Real mileage is closer to 118k. While replacing the cluster, the tabs for the cover were broken. That part needs to be procured.
-Radio plays static. The cassette player worked for a minute one time. It may just need cleaning.
-Fuel gauge isn't functioning
-Interior light and key buzzer do not activate when driver door is opened
-Air Bag light flashes in a six blink sequence
-Hail damage on hood and deck lid
-Reverse lights do not come on
-Tiny engine oil leak. It could be a poor oil filter seal
-Rattle in the exhaust. The cat has already been removed. Bad muffler?
-Rear panel is broken on the right-hand side and is attached with metal plate under the taillight. (See pics)
-Bumpers are more faded than the body
-Paint appears to be worn off the side-view mirror caps. Car cover maybe?
Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come see the car and drive it with a scheduled appointment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
It's a great base to start progressing at the local AutoX. If it doesn't sell, that's exactly what I'll be doing with it next spring. That and cool night drives in the fall with the top down and the heat blasting.
Build up an awesome race car or do like me and just drive it like it is.
