This particular model is the second series in the line of RX7’s the gas tank grew larger and the dashboard was redesigned. This particular year returned the 130mph speedometer. It was featured as one of the top 10 best cars in 1983. The Mazda RX-7 was the car you would buy if you had good taste, but couldn’t afford a Porsche. For this car the rotary engine was the highlight that made this vehicle such a hit among its followers being able to go from 0-60 in 9 seconds with a 7000 rpm redline. It might not seem like much in this day and age, but back then this car was your affordable version of a sports car.
This is a New Mexico car recent service including new battery, coils, radiator flush, coolant level sensor, driver side window motor, and door rubber molding. 5-speed manual transmission with 1.3L 232 HP Rotary Engine very mechanically sound. Has a solid body with no accidents, fresh paint, and new window tint. One of the nicest examples of the milestone classic you will ever find.
