1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata169K MilesThis vehicle is far from perfect, but is a heap of a lot of fun. This would be the perfect candidate for a father/son project or a drift missile. If you’re looking for a showroom perfect Miata, you should search in google Mazda dealerships near you. I bought the vehicle with intentions of having it as a fun secondary car, however both time and space are limited.THE GOOD:The car is Pennsylvania inspected (and emissions) through 08/24. The vehicle has been serviced at the local Mazda dealership prior to my ownership and has had the timing done within the last two years. The Miata also has newer brakes as well as tires within the last two years. The car will get up to speed and stop on a dime, it is an absolute blast to drive. I’ve been using the vehicle as my daily driver to work and smile ear to ear on my way. The vehicle was repainted within the last two years also, it is not a perfect paint job (BUYER SEE PICS PLEASE)and does have a few blemishes but is what I refer to as a 20/30 paint job, it looks excellent from 20 feet away, going 30mph.THE BAD: The vehicle does have a newer top within two years, but PLEASE REVIEW PICTURESthe top fabric where it seals around the windshield is not perfect. This has not been an issue for me, even parking the vehicle outside as the inside remains completely dry. Beyond the top, the vehicle will need a replacement passenger seat as the backrest is missing. The passenger seat butt pad is still intact, and could hypothetically carry a passenger but would not recommend. The vehicle is a 1990, please review pictures to see imperfections… there are several dents/dings/scratches on the vehicle. I tried to photograph as many as I could and to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible… with that said remember;NEXT YEAR THIS VEHICLE WOULD BE OLD ENOUGH TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT.THE UGLY: I can’t say much in this regard except for the rocker panels are starting to rust, but it is early enough to catch it without spreading any farther. The car will absolutely run, drive, and stop.At the end of the day the car will do whatever you need it to whether that’s drifting in mall parking lots, or a trip to the grocery store.
