nice project EV - needs batts, BMS, controller

1988 Mazda RX-7 Additional Info:

This RX-7 was converted to an EV way back by my friend. For several years, he ran it around to shows, etc. Then he had kids and this 2+2 wouldn't work for his family. He sold off some of the parts and then sold it to me.

All that’s left is the huge motor (see pic) under the hood. He sold the batteries, controller, BMS, etc.It was a very nice conversion for the times, but it’s a little rough now.

It is all set up for running as an EV – battery trays, etc., just need some components.

I had plans to invest the $$ to make it a quick, little EV, take it to shows, and generally have fun with it. Well, life had other ideas.

So here we are…I am selling it now. Nice body & wheels. Interior is a little rough.This would make an awesome rebuilt ICE car or rebuilt it as an EV. It’s a sharp looking vehicle.
