Vehicle Details
Let me just say if you want a car with a power to weight ratio close to a bugatti veyron, with the handling capabilities of a track car, then this may be the miata for you.
I built this car 100% myself. I have countless hours into this car over the past 2 and half years. I have put probably 15k miles on the build. I have drove this car for 6 hours straight with no issues. To and from the dragstrip and autocrosses. I have won autocross events and won hard tire events in drag racing.
It is the ONLY coyote swapped miata in the world and I've yet to see proof of another (don't even say the photoshopped nb on YouTube). This car has been circulating alot of attention over the past 2 years since I've had it running and always draws a crowd wherever you go.
Specs:
520hp/460tq all motor and 680hp/670tq on nitrous. Those numbers are based off the dyno and adding 15% on drivetrain loss. It made 442whp/390wtq on motor with pump e85 and 581whp/570wtq on 150 shot. Redline @7900rpms. 2470lbs total. I've had the car corner balanced on scales and it is 51/49 weight bias front to rear with me in the car (I'm 210lbs).
Engine:
Gen 2 '15 f150 coyote with mustang cams, gt350 timing chains/guides/tensioners. Boundary billet oil pump gears/crank sprocket. Poly 4.6 motor mounts. Ported boss 302 intake, flipped gt manifolds, high flow stainless cats used as mufflers. MMR water pump pulley. New oem alternator and battery, both are 2 months old. Tuned on e85 150 shot, e85 n/a and 93 n/a. Dyno tuned by joshua Newman @ 5 Star Tuning. Takes 5 minutes to change tunes with the rtd+ bluetoothed to rtd app on your phone.
Engine has around 90k miles but looks brand new under the valve covers. Doesn't use any oil or coolant at all between changes. I run 5w40 or 5w50 oil and motorcraft filters changed every 2k miles.
Transmission:
Gen 2 '16 mustang mt82 6 speed manual (18k miles on trans). MGW solid -6" fox body coyote swap shifter. RXT twin disk clutch. Lightweight steel flywheel. Fluid changed 1k miles ago. 3.5" Dana spicer steel driveshaft, Dana flanges, dana slip yoke, and 1350 u joints.
Rear end:
2019 mustang gt s550 full irs subframe swap. 20k miles on the whole rear end. 3.15 lsd factory gears in super 8.8 dif. Billet lca bushings, poly dif bushings. Factory 2019 mustang rear brakes, axles, etc.
Nitrous:
Nitrous outlet plate kit. Jets from 50-150 shot. Runs off wide open throttle from throttle body sensor and window switch off rpms from 3000-7400rpm. Nitrous outlet purge kit. 10lb bottle. AN lines.
Return Fuel system:
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, AN ptfe lines, Russell performance AN fittings. DW400 pump. Ford racing 47lb injectors.
Wiring:
Ford Performance control pack.
Suspension:
Tein Flex Z adjustable coilovers, eibach front sway bar. Rear is tein coilovers with stiffer eibach springs. S550 rear control arms. Billet lca bushings.
Brakes:
Wilwood 4 piston front calipers and 2 piece rotors.
S550 mustang rear brakes with wilwood bias controller and tilton clutch master cylinder.
Cooling:
Dual core radiator, dual spal fans, MMR water pump pulley. The car doesn't use coolant and never gets hot running back to back wide open.
Wheels:
Konig wheels 17" rear and 15" front with falken azenis rt615k+ tires. 255 rear and 205 front. Also have another set of front wheels with 245 hoosier r6 slicks and another set of 15" rear mustang wheels with 295 hoosier r6 slicks. Will need s550 rear brake conversion to fit 15" on rear.
New soft top replaced this year. New gas tank replaced 2 years ago. 6 point roll bar/door bars. Bride side mount seats 36" waist with Simpson harnesses. I'm 6'3" and have head room even with a helmet. Front frame rails reinforced, firewall and trans tunnel is custom made. Custom sub frame connectors. I have jacked the car up in the center of them and the car will balance itself. Engine sits into the firewall 2" to make it near 50/50 balanced. 50/50 balanced side to side within 10lbs. The front is a total of 60lbs heavier than the rear with me in the car. Car handles amazing. I have won autocross races with it. And it hooks in 1st gear on street tires on good warm pavement. Brakes work fantastic.
The body is in decent shape to be 34 years old. It does have typical dings, scratches, paint chips, and some rust in front of rear tires underneath. The rest of the car is solid underneath. The overfenders are metal. The chassis is very stiff with the reinforcments done and handles the power very well. The fact that the car hooks up in 1st gear on street tires and can still win autocross races says alot. This car could be set up for drag racing just by some suspension tweaks and 26" bias ply slicks. It is capable of 9s easily. I have ran 10.9@126 on motor on the 255 falken street tires just babying it off the line. But the car is designed to handle way better than a factory miata and still have the power out of the corners. I have had this car 180mph at the top of 5th gear just on motor. I'm sure it is capable or 200mph and it is surprisingly stable at high speeds.
The factory gauges don't work but could be wired up but I use the dash mounted digital cluster for all the gauges. It uses a GPS speedometer, digital tach, coolant temp, oil temp, a/f ratios, mpg, shift light, etc. No radio, no heat, no ac. No ps, no power brakes. But it is easy to stop and easy to steer. It does has a dual port phone charger and I use a Bluetooth speaker for a radio. This car is raw and I like it that way. It's not as loud as you would expect with the high flow ss catalytic convertors used as mufflers. It can get 30mpg cruising and is street legal. I have even daily drove this car to work when the weather was decent. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Feel free to ask questions and happy bidding on this one of a kind car!
