1983 Mazda RX-7 Additional Info:

I am the second owner of this wonderful 1983 Mazda RX-7 Limited Edition. If you are a Rotary engine, RX-7, fan you know what you are looking at here. 12A Rotary Engine, 5 speed manual transmission, One color combination of Chateau Silver with cloth red interior with red pin stripping. One color combination only. 1983 Limited Editions do not come up that often in this nice of shape. The car has 120,000 original miles. I have all the paper work from the original purchase at Santa Rosa AMC/Jeep/Mazda. Its never left Northern California. Bought In Santa Rosa and lived its life here in Sonoma County. a county with no snow, no salt on the road and honestly not even that much rain since 1983. The car has been kept inside and is in really nice shape. See the photos from all angles. The car is 40 years old. It is in really nice shape, it was driven and used when new and then only used for weekend cruises and Mazda RX-7 organized drives, then parked in the garage upon the death of the first owner. I purchased it. (in running and driving condition) from his widow. You can drive this car anywhere. It handles well, choke works as it is supposed to, and there are no issues with the car that I know of except the A/C will need a recharge. I can jump in and drive it with confidence anytime I feel like.Exterior- the original paint shines up nicely, may have a few small bug / rock chips in the front from regular driving. Nothing out of the ordinary. The rear antenna area was touched up with touch up paint at one time, it matches pretty well, but the last 10 inches of the pin stripe are not present. (see photo) there is a small dent on top of the front passenger near the headlight, it was also touched up with paint at one time as well. (also visible in the photo) none of these are major issues, but I want to make sure to share them as you look to bid.Interior-the red cloth interior is in great shape. The seats show very little signs of normal wear, no rips or snags. The carpet in holding up very nicely. The cargo area is slightly faded from the sun but is still in good shape. The door panels are also very nice, the very top of the drivers side door panel had a dime size are that was discolored and repaired at one time. The dash, headliner, sun visors, storage boxes and everything else are all in perfect shape, all look good. The Engine/Transmission- The 12A 1.2 liter rotary engine is a joy to drive with nice pep and smooth driving. 120,000 original miles runs like a top. Transmission shifts as it should, clutch engages and disengages as it should as well. I am not sure what else to say here, besides it runs really well, has never been tampered with. It just passed Smog here in California (that might not be necessary where you are, but you should know if the timing was messed with at all or any other adjustments had been made over the last 40 years it would most likely not have passed smog)New rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes. stops perfectly. Everything works including the, at the time, top of the line AM/FM cassette player with equalizer.I am happy to discuss the car with interested bidders. I also can share more pictures of areas you are interested in or I may have overlooked including. Clean California title in my name. Brian 707-479-1595 or Ebay messaging is fine as well. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due ASAP after the auction ends. Then the winning bidder and I can discuss pick up and payment of the vehicle. The reserve is set fairly low (in my opinion) as I really want this car to find a new buyer who will love it as much as I and the original owner has
