1973 Mazda RX3 Additional Info:
1973 Mazda Rx3This Rx Legend has been owned since 1990 and was bought from Ovi in the Los Angeles area. {he would be amazed to know I still had the Rx} He was well known in the late 80s street scene with this Rx3. Over the years the Rx had some transformations. The current quality work was done in 2007 by Jim Colin a well known fabricator of sand rails, hot rod and custom builds. The Rx is solid and working but do expect nicks and nacks the paint is that old but still looks good. A 2007 project that initially turned out to powerful for the street that ultimately had to be tuned down for street use, it can easily be turned into a full drag if desired. No major problems and runs strong. No joy rides but recommended to view in person if you are seriously interested. It would come with a second pair of ssr wheels on new tires {pictured}. The custom interior can be seen in the photos, Including is a rear matching seat that would need to be fitted. The tubbing is all tied in together under and tru-out the chassis for stability. The engine/transmission is also pushed back 2” for a better balance. The motor is a 13b 6p large ported on a turbo blow thru system (not a compress system) with a sitting Weber IDA. The transmission is a very hard to find Cosmo 5 speed tied to a large driveshaft. The deferential is a 9” disc brake and made by Currie. 4.44. The front suspension is optimized with Rx7 FC 5 lug disc brakes.
So I have finally decided to let someone enjoy the Rx so I can start a new business venture.Final sale ask any questions. Thanks for looking
