Since ebay still does not recognize non-US VINs, here is the correct Japanese VIN:
HC3S-100572
After collecting German cars for many years, I got very interested in unusual JDM cars and started importing a few rare and unusual ones from Japan, This advertised 1986 Mazda Luce is definitely one of the rarest. Supposedly less than a 1000 Luces with the 13B rotary were built between 1986 and 1991 and these were only available on the Japanese market. As far as I know, there was only one similar car offered in the USA a few years ago. I don't know of any other being advertised for sale at this time.
I don't want to get into lengthy stories; Wikipedia is a good source to find out about these unusual Wankel-engine cars.
Let me tell you about this one:
It's a one-previous-Japanese-owner car with only 42k miles.
It's powered by a 1.3 Liter 13B Turbo Rotary engine with 170 HP mated to a 4-spd automatic transmission.
The paint is all original with the exception of the forward part of the left front fender, which had a small dent which was repaired and painted.
The interior in red velour is absolutely stunning without any stains and/or smells. It looks and feels like new. The in-Japan-very-common seat covers (doillies) are alsoin perfect shape.
The car has period-correct alloy wheels with 2 new tires. One of the wheels is slightly bent, but this does not affect the drive-ability.
The electrically adjustable suspension works flawlessly.
There are no warning lights on and all instruments work as they should, as do all the lights.
A new expansion valve and dryer for the AC were installed and the system was recharged with R12 and blows ice-cold.
This car is mechanically and cosmetically in excellent condition. It does not need any work.
Taking into consideration that the car is now 33 years old, there is no warranty either expressed or implied.
It has a clean WA title. All paperwork documenting the legal importation is present.
I will gladly assist with shipping within the USA or worldwide.

NOTE TO CA BUYERS:
This car can unfortunately not be registered in California, due to overly bureaucratic regulations. I will not provide a smog check, since it's smog exempt in Washington andmany more states in the USA.
