You are bidding on a 1994 Mazda RX7 R2, It runs and drives great. I have owned this car for about 18 years and it has been garage kept since I have owned it. All stock except: underdrive pulleys, catback exhaust, silicon hoses, Tokico adjustable shocks. The engine was rebuilt by a local rotary specialist to stock specs less than 5000 miles ago due to coolant loss from a cracked front plate. The body is in good condition with only a few minor nicks and scratches, and the interior is in very good condition.
The title is rebuilt. I ran the car into a guardrail and the insurance company totaled it. I bought the car back and had it rebuilt by a well respected area shop, the same shop as recommended by the insurance company. I’ve driven it for the last 15 years or so since then and it drives as well as or better than when I bought it. The R2s are the most sought after of the third gen RX7s. The reserve price reflects the desirability of the R2 as well as the impact of the title status. I enjoy this car and am only selling it because my wife and I have too many cars and need to thin the herd so we can reduce the cost of storage and insurance.
Please do not bid if you're not seriously interested and financially able to complete the purchase.

On May-19-16 at 14:19:20 PDT, seller added the following information:
I also didn't mention that I've had the rear suspension rebuilt with new bushings about 2 years ago at Dr. Zoom in Louisville.
Also, I've also been careful to let the engine get to operating temperature before running above 3000 RPM, let it cool before shutting down, use Idemitsu Rotary premix in the fuel andalways use Idemitsu Rotary Engine Oil.
The A/C, original radio and other systems work well. The only issue is that the door locks don't work due to a previous owner adding a cheap remote starter that messed up something in the door.
I still have the original drive pulleys and stock shocks and some other parts that will go with the car.
