OWNED BY A 72 YEAR OLD MAN(ME) FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS. 3 PREVIOUS OWNERS. SPENT IT'S WHOLE LIFE IN TEXAS AND THE CAROLINAS. RUNS VERY STRONG. PERFECT 10-8-10 BOOST PATTERN. ORIGINAL PAINT SLIGHTLY FADED FROM THE TEXAS SUN. BUMPERS AND HEADLIGHTS ARE SLIGHTLY DARKER THAN THE REST OF THE CAR (IS THIS COMMON OR WERE THEY RESPRAYED BEFORE I BOUGHT IT???) AND THEY MAY HAVE BEEN PAINTED. CLEAR COAT WAS PEELING OFF THE REAR WING SO I HAD THE WING REPAINTED.
FIRST SOLD IN 1993.REPURCHASED IN 1995 BY THE LOCAL MAZDA DEALER (WHO ORIGINALLY SOLD THE CAR) FOR HIS WIFE TO DRIVE(SO I WAS TOLD)SOLD TO PREVIOUS OWNER IN 2004.PURCHASED BY ME IN 2005- PREVIOUS OWNER HAD A CHILD ON THE WAY AND HAD TO GET A LARGER CAR.
HAS ABOUT 94500 MILES . MY ODOMETER CROAKED LAST SUMMER WITH 93,XXX MILES ON THE CAR. I'VE PUT ABOUT 1000 ON IT SINCE THEN. THE ENGINE IS WARRANTIED BY THE VALVOLINE 300,000 MILE WARRANTY(NON TRANSFERABLE)- AND I HAVE ALL THE RECORDS WHERE I HAVE REPORTED OIL CHANGES AND MILEAGE TO VALVOLINE. THE LAST REPORT WAS 93,600 MILES IN JANUARY OF 2017. I READ ON THE MAZDA RX7 BOARD THAT THE ODOMETER CHIP OR THE ECU KEEPS THE MILEAGE EVEN IF THE DISPLAY IS BROKEN.(??).
