1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata Additional Info:
I'm selling my fun-to-drive 1992 Sunburst Yellow Mazda Miata. It currently has about 45,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. It's a rare breed: one of only 1,519 Sunburst Yellows made, and only in 1992 (for a premium price). It was never driven in winter and is clean, has no rust, and has never housed a smoker or a pet.
It includes the A option package: power steering, leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels, premium floor mats with the yellow logo (never been used; I use the everyday mats with the silver logo), air conditioning, and limited slip differential.
It comes with a new top with a glass back window (installed a few years ago) and a rear rack. I installed a Pioneer CD/stereo system (with USB/mp3 hookup) and two Kenwood speakers in the doors. Also, I got cup holders instead of an ashtray, and a top boot cover. Other than that, it's stock.
The paint—Mazda advertised that it used three coats—is in great condition, a few imperfections and small dings, normal for a car that's been gently used by a careful driver. Overall, it's in excellent condition, especially for its age.
I am the third owner; when I bought it in 2007, it had about 27,000 miles. I have loved driving it in late spring, summer, and early fall; it spends the rest of the year covered in enclosed storage. See photos, as they are part of the description.
I have all the maintenance records in a folder, and the original manual and other records in their original leather cover, along with several sets of keys.
Any questions, please ask. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Thanks for looking.
