1988 Mazda RX-7 SE Additional Info:
Up for auction is a 1988 Mazda RX-7. I purchased this SE model from my cousin, who bought it new from a Mazda dealership in California. This makes me only the second owner. The car spent most of its life on the west coast, and it shows. There is absolutely no rust because the car was garage kept (and only started during the winter) when his family moved to Virginia. I also kept it in a garage after i bought it (bone stock) in 2008.
I drove this FC for a minute or two in its stock form, but it wasn't long before i started to crave a little more power. I contacted an importer (at corksport), and purchased an S4 J-spec engine. It arrived with around 35k miles and great compression (guaranteed me 125psi on all rotor faces). After lots of research, my dad and I dropped in the engine and wired it up. The goal has always been to have a safe and reliable vehicle, so i ported the wastegate and then installed a new turbo compressor wheel and rebuild kit. This was necessary so there was absolutely no boost creep when we added a 3 inch stainless steel exhaust.Next was keeping this thing cool and fueled. We added a monster intercooler and polished aluminum piping with an hks ssqv type blow off valve and greddy comp tube. Also from japan is a legit hks air intake. The car is running on a US spec computer (with rtek 1.5 adjustments), and a walbro 255 fuel pump.It runs/idles/boosts (super safe but still fun 6 psi, with room for A LOT more as it sits) extremely well with absolutely ZERO known mechanical issues.Additionally, the battery is safely relocated to passenger side storage bin to neaten things up in the engine bay. This is done correctly with 00 gauge car stereo amp wire and a fuse block to eliminate any chance of fire. Also inside the car (see pics) are a boost gauge, narrow band o2 sensor, and switch panel. I was originally going to run a CO2 cooling plate (additional switch and purge button), but it seemed a little silly after i did some more research on actual dyno charts. Receiver setup will charge and play music off of your iphone, and is a single DIN. You can also use the headphone jack to listen through any other audio device.
The interior is clean for its age. A few cracks here and there, but nothing major.. Also..No faulty codes popping up on dash lights, no weird beeps, and locks, door handles, mirrors, etc all working as they should.
The body has also been tastefully modded (in my opinion :) )Starting with a GP Sports style kit, i opened up the mouth for the intercooler, and grafted in FD lights from the 2002 FD japanese model. I then added widebody rear quarters (30mm) and 20mm front fenders. Next came a super rare erebuni wing (one of three in existence i have been told). I also deleted the third brake light and added s5 tail lights. My goal was to have body panels that could all bolt on and off (NO permanent moulding), so i could simply pull a part, fix it, and bolt it back on if a shopping cart or wild cyclist bounced off the side of the car.Again, this car's purpose has always been to be a very clean and reliable driver (even though i have won several trophies at car shows).
The car is painted with a professional quality basecoat/clearcoat in subaru WRX blue.Details-

Code-SUB9105
WR Blue -subaru/fujiThese Advan Oni wheels are rare, but extremely rare in this offset. Front are a 16x8 -1, and rear are 16X9 +15(if i remember correctly), with hubcentric 50mm spacers. These wheels are almost perfect, and have no curb rash, oxidation, rust, etc. There is currently a set (in an undesirable offset) on ebay for 1,200 to give you an idea.Rear tires have low wear and are Falken 255/50r16
Front are Bridgestone Potenza 205/55r16
This car has been really fun, it gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. I am really struggling with selling it, but with 2 and 4 yr old children, it is just not practical anymore. (Even though i could probably weld up carseat mounts to work with a 2+2 conversion, making trips to preschool totally legal. Dont think i havent thought of that, wife..... Definitely happening if car doesnt sell.)Regardless, I dont drive this car nearly as much as i used to, and hate to admit the fact that my priorities are shifting. The last few years it went from my primary mode of transportation, to maybe once a month. Knowing that i was going to sell it prompted me to drive it a lot more lately. That way i could make sure there were definitely no issues with the car (put a new water pump on, and charged the ac). We have also recently moved, and with limited garage space, i would have to leave the rx7 outside. Not happening.Buy it.Drive the hell out of it, but please keep it in a garage.

This enables you to set the lowest position of the lights (with a dial) to whatever height you want. A/C just charged and blows super cold.Alarm that pages you if car is tampered with. The alarm is very loud. It will also beep your key chain up to a mile. Most of the time i don't even lock my doors. If some idiot opens the door, the alarm is triggered, you get the chirp on your key chain and are outside peacefully investigating (or something like that).Receiver works with aux input and usb mini
