Additional Info:

This was my late father's project car; we are selling it as part of his estate and know it only from what's visible in the photos.

  • Make: Lotus
  • Model: Europa Twin Cam Special
  • Year: 1973
  • VIN: 3669R (per factory ID plate)
  • Engine: 1558cc Lotus Twin Cam, cam cover reads Lotus Big Valve
  • Transmission: Renault 352 4-speed manual transaxle (per gearbox tag)
  • Drive Type: Mid-engine rear wheel drive
  • Mileage: 28,565 shown on odometer, not verified

  • Factory ID plate is intact and legible, showing a June 1973 build date and identification number 3669R. The cam cover reads Lotus Big Valve. The drivetrain appears complete, with twin Stromberg 175 CD carburetors, a factory-style exhaust manifold, an aluminum radiator, a later Delco Remy alternator, and a Renault 352 4-speed transaxle per the gearbox tag. Appears that the correct Special alloy wheels are fitted. The odometer reads 28,565 miles; we cannot verify this. The car does not currently run, and we have not attempted to start it.

  • This car is in project condition has visible signs of wear and is in need of new tires. Nothing appears to be wrong structurally. My father did put around $10,000 into it at one point and had it running and driving but it has been years since it has been started. I encourage any serious buyers to inspect the car themselves or send a mechanic.

  • Per CT requirements no title is required for this car and it is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty. It is not currently registered.

  • Message me with any questions and I'll do my best to answer. Serious buyers only.
