$14,000. Clean titled (2015), registered, and plated. Donor vehicle: well-maintained 1995 Mazda Miata M5 1.8L DOHC engine, 5-speed manual transmission, and rear drivetrain. 134,000 miles on engine, new clutch, timing belt, alternator, and water pump when installed. The fuel injected engine starts, runs, sounds, and performs great (video available). Spark plug color looks good, oil pressure is above 40 psi, compression numbers are good (140-153 psi), burns no oil, and has no oil leaks. Less than 1000 miles put on the car since the build. Included is the original Miata owner’s manual and Haynes Repair Manual. Independent four-wheel suspension with floating aluminum fenders (unique). Cross-corner weight balanced suspension. All aluminum body with fiberglass scuttle and nosecone. Scuttle and nosecone rattle can painted. Standard “Book” frame has “Aussie” mods and is epoxy painted for durability. GAZ coilover shock absorbers. Steel floor and front and rear bulkheads for rigidity. Two interchangeable removeable steering wheels, removeable roll bar, removeable five-point harness for driver. Working parking brake. Fitted windshield washers and windshield wipers with motors come with sale and can be re-installed. Properly engineered: steering linkages to eliminate bump steer, driveshaft angles, and upper and lower control arm design and mounting locations with urethane bushings. Mazda instrument cluster where everything works but the fuel gage (four-gallon fuel cell can be fitted with a sending unit if desired. I use the trip odometer as the fuel gage).
