Inspired by a Lotus 7, this car was built solely and entirely by none other than Dave Klym of FABCAR. The car is titled as a 2015 though model after the Lotus-7 (production 1957-1973.If you do not know Dave Klym, simply scour the internet and you will find a long history dating back to Dave Klym’s beginnings as one of Indy’s leading chief mechanics, pit champions - through his creation of FACAR in 1977 - who specialized in prototypes for different racing teams, such as his longstanding relationship with Porsche. I've add just a few images of cars built by Klym.( https://porschecarshistory.com/wp-content/old/biblio5/59/Powered%20by%20Porsche%20-%20The%20Alternative%20Race%20Cars.pdf )Dave has built cars and worked with many of racing’s legends. Brumos Racing's 59th Rolex 24 Celebration, Dan Gurney, Mike Hiss’s success as rookie of the year in the early 1970’s, Hurley Haywood, Paul Newman, Mark Donohue and so many others. Dave Klym continues his work with friend Miles Collier at the Rev’s Institute in Naples Florida and is currently leading the highly publicized RAZZOFAB project.( https://youtu.be/GaHaQ-7TGWM?si=zyZNamCFq6Zo1O8u ) and ( https://revsinstitute.org/external/razzofab ).Klym fabricated every aspect of this car ground up! Including completely rebuilding a rare 1960 Daimler SP-250 engine that powers this small beast. Raw, old-school roadster was the goal with 100% all originally fabricated or purchased parts. This vehicle has never been on the road and was only recently titled at Dave my home home in Southern NJ (Dave's nephew, Tony).** only remaining piece is a replacement carburetor or - better - an EFI unit.
