There is that sweet expression "Cute as a Bug in a Rug" Well this Bug is beyond cute. Purchased new in Waterford Michigan in 1967. It was then moved with the original owner out to California around 1969 and remained in the climate friendly state until we acquired the vehicle recently. Vehicle was maintained and lovingly cared for by her for over 50yrs. Recent work was done around 2018 that included brand new basketweave seats, door panels, new carpet, and new headliner. New tires were added in the past year.
Exterior shows very well with the Lotus White paint along with the brand new front and rear chrome bumpers. Headlights work, along with wipers. Vehicle comes with two sets of keys, jack/tools, owners manuals, service records, accessory book, and even the original loan documents. Miles show 65k and are believed to be accurate.
Finding an authentic Beetle that has such a strong history, stunning looks and a joy to drive is very difficult. This jem will not last long and only has an upside to the next owner.
