1978 Lotus Super Seven Additional Info:

This Lotus Super 7 was built by Wharton Aerospace Industries out of Rockledge, Florida. Eric Wharton built several Super 7 for the racetrack, and two for road. This one was built for his wife Juliett, who wanted a 6-cylinder and automatic transmission. The frame was built 10% heavier than his other cars to take the additional stresses of the engine. He built this car with the famous Buick v6 3800 turbo grand national, turbo 350tranny with a B&M rachet shifter hooked up to a Jaguar rear differential (with inboard disc brakes). Heavy duty, hand-laid fiberglass body also built by Wharton Aerospace Industries.
This car was running and tuned up before it was put away 2 years ago. Has been in covered, outside storage for 2 years and needs heavy clean-up, polish, etc. Will start up & run. Has new battery.
