1970 Lotus Elan Additional Info:

I am selling my 1970 Lotus Elan Plus 2. I consider this a running and driving project. It's a car that really needs to be gone over before driving daily, or even occasionally. See photos and videos in the links below. I just had the car gone over; carbs adjusted, new clutch slave cylinder and line, new front brake discs - to get it running and driving. I have new brake discs for the rear but they are not installed. Many Lotus books/maintenance materials. Has the wheel knock-off wrench and hammer. It's a fun little car, I just have too many other cars and projects. I hope it goes to a good home.
Known issues:-Pictures make the paint and body look better than it does "live". Some paint checking and scuffs.-Needs a battery; I may be able to find one but you may need to bring one or buy one.-Uses Lucas electronics-Some gauges work: Odometer (shows 23k miles, I assume 123k miles), Amp, Water temp, etc., some dont: Speedometer is off, Tachometer, Oil pressure-Passenger side window rolls up and down, drivers side does not-Fan/air does not work-Wipers do not work-Headlights/Lights/Blinkers do not work (other than brake light)-I cannot seem to find reverse gear. I do not believe Colin Chapman deleted this for lightness, so I'm not sure. Might have a reverse lock out?-Tires are very old Yokohamas - more than 10 years old.
