Gorgeous Lotus Elan +2, if I do say so myself! Work done on restoration:New British Racing Green Urethane paint; Suspension, front and rear, completely rebuilt including new rear axle donuts; Brakes completely rebuilt including master cylinder and booster; clutch master and slave cylinders rebuilt; wheels stripped and powder coated. Carbs rebuilt (Engine and transmission were rebuilt shortly before I purchased the car by Auto Europe of Birmingham, Michigan). Interior work - new headliner, new carpeting (including trunk); new door panel cards and new dash top and knee pads; new transmission tunnel fabricated from aluminum as an exact match of original plastic tunnel. Re-chromed front bumper and gas cap, the rest of the chrome is in fine condition or was replaced with new parts.New parts purchased for restoration, in no particular order:Steering U-joint, Sony AM, FM, CD with Polk Audio speakers, outside rear view mirrors, 3 interior lights, nose badge, weatherstripping and window seals throughout, battery and cables, tail lights, front turn signal lights, rear bumper, grille, stainless steel exhaust system, shocks, knock-offs to replace the large nuts, mini alternator and ignition switch.If you have questions, please call John at at (414) 350-3199.
