1967 Lotus Elan S4 Additional Info:

1967 BRITISH RACING GREEN LOTUS ELAN S4 DHC project car for restoration. Although the car resides in California, it has a New York Registration. This car has been my baby for 12 years. I have spent an inordinate amount of money on this restoration..... around $40,000. Unfortunately I have been fighting back (spinal) issues and have undergone several operations and now I have to undergo another surgery in the very near future. My condition has made me decide to sell this project car as I can no longer lift heavy objects like engines or transmissions. I have 90% of the parts necessary to finish the car. The body was restored by the Fiberglass Body Shop in Hawthorne CA ($7,500.00). There need some minor spot fiberglass repairs and repaints due to necessary bodywork that was done after body was painted (The guy that did the finish work and paint was a really talented idiot). John Kouba of LOTUS WEST rebuilt the transmission. Kelly's Machine Shop (Culver City, CA) put the motor together. The chassis has had all the AVO improvements and other improvements. I have traveled the world obtaining the best parts possible from reputable Lotus parts dealers. If you want I will post more pictures. I have others that are interested, so bring it on.......
