Up for Auction is a 1974 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special with8944 original miles. Chassis Number 4607R
Recently removed from long term storage, it is completely original. The engine starts easily and has excellent oil pressure. This car hasthe big valve twin cam engine.The clutch feels good and the gearbox shiftssmoothly.
The paint is decent and consistent with 43 year old paint and would benefit from a good buffing. Door fits are good and there are nofiberglassstress cracks. The interior is in good condition. The headliner is new and was replaced as the original was sagging and could not be re-glued.
The tires are original and obviously should be replaced, they do hold air and the car moves easily. There is no rust on the chassis. The brakes and exhaust will require repair.
I have the original bill of sale from 1974. The owners manual, warranty booklet, Europa Handbook Supplement and other documentation are included. Tool roll, jack and jack-bag are in good condition.
