Last on track in 2016 . This Lotus has an Alabama Vintage Tag & insurance( making export easy), and I occasionally retard the spark a bit and drive it on the road....It was last driven in March 201, then I pulled the motor to get ready for Pittsburg's Schenley Park Gran Prixand Put in Bay Historics ..also possibly the Barber HMSA Historics in May.....Lotus Chassis is frame # L563/763 which was built by Lotus Mar 1960. It has a beautiful alloy originalslantnose with incredible metal workmanship. Rear suspension is 4 link and uses Lotus 14 Differential and drive components, and isoneof a half dozen or soIRSSevensbuilt. Original wire wheels are 13" front 15" rears. Triumph discs in the front and drum BMC rears. Not shown, I have since found and added a correct mirror on the center of the cowl. Will need tires, and a fuel cell if required by your group.. Everything else is ' new ', and the car delivers as 'ready to drive'. Originally a Ford 100E for 1100Class racing, it has had a BMC motor since coming to North America.

When the motor is re-installed, the car ships " ready to drive"

Thebook picture was taken in the late1970's by Dennis Ortenburger, and is in his famous book "Legend of the Seven" on page 143. Prior to me locating the car, it had been in a collector's storage in Phoenix Arizona for the last 3 decades. and prior to that, Ohio area racing...before that throughCanadafrom theUK. If I wasn't 75, I would not consider selling the car.
