1946 Lincoln Club Coupe (66H) Zephyr — Preserved Patina Restomod | LS Swap | Frame-Off Build | Cedarburg, WI

***(Reserve is set at $22,500. Hit it, and the car is sold.)

Found on a North Dakota farm in 2017. Bought without a drivetrain. Came with a box of original Bakelite and chrome interior parts the farmer had pulled off decades earlier so they wouldn't get broken while the car worked for a living.

This was a complete, ground-up frame-off restoration. The frame was fully stripped and painted before the car was reassembled. Since completion it has never been driven in snow or rain and has been stored in a temperature-controlled garage. Nearly everything about this car is brand new, except for the incredible patina! (further detail and most receipts available)

DRIVETRAIN

  • GM 5.3L LM4 aluminum-block Vortec 5300 (Gen III), sequential port fuel injection, ~300 hp
  • Approximately 800 miles since installation
  • PSI (Performance Systems Integration) standalone ECU and wiring harness
  • GM 700R4 automatic with shift kit and lockup torque converter
  • Chevelle 10-bolt rear axle, 3.73:1 Posi, AxleExchange Fastshafts
  • Starts and runs like a brand new vehicle

SUSPENSION & BRAKES

  • Helix Corner Killer Mustang II independent front suspension, coilovers, power rack and pinion
  • Coilover rear suspension
  • Four-wheel disc brakes
  • Alignment: Camber +0.25° / Caster +3.0° / Toe-in 1/16"

WHEELS & TIRES

  • Wheel Vintiques 16x8
  • Falken Pro Touring HS 225/60R16

FUEL, COOLING & CLIMATE

  • New fuel tank — Tanks Inc.
  • Vintage Air Gen III Compac — heat, A/C, defrost

ELECTRICAL & AUDIO

  • PSI standalone engine harness
  • Speedway Motors chassis/lighting harness
  • All-new power windows — motors, switches, regulators
  • Bluetooth stereo with hidden speakers
  • All-new gauges; original speedometer professionally rebuilt

INTERIOR

  • Original seats professionally reupholstered — grey ostrich print
  • New carpets throughout including trunk
  • New headliner
  • Original Bakelite and chrome interior trim reinstalled from farm-find parts box

GLASS

  • New window glass and seals throughout; original vent windows retained

The philosophy was simple: preserve what time did to the outside, modernize everything you cannot see. The result is a car that draws a crowd at every gas station and drives with the confidence of a modern vehicle.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Speedometer makes a small sound. May need a new speedometer cable
  • The bakelite window switches are awesome, but 6V and are not connected to the power windows. The switches are modern but the bakelite switches come with the purchase for someone adept at connecting them.
  • No lock cylinder for trunk.
  • Rear tail-light cover missing, as well as a few very small pieces of stainless trim on rear quarter panel
  • Air-conditioning needs charged. Comes with charging kit.

NOTES

  • Local pickup, or shipping arranged and paid at buyers expense
