Up for auction is a 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. I am working with a family selling the car collection of an elderly family member who has passed away. It is unknown how long he had owned the car and whether he ever drove it while he owned it. The odometer reads 83073 and has been stored away in his garage since 1988. The car has solid floors and frame and appears to have had some bodywork and a complete repaint sometime before 1988. The car will not start but the engine is free and turns. All the glass is free of chips or cracks. The car looks to be complete except for a missing knob for the hood release. We do have a clear NY transferable registration for the car. Prior to 1973 NY State did not issue Titles, only transferable registration documents. Please Look at the Photos, it was difficult getting good undercarriage images. The car is located in New York's Columbia County, south of Germantown. We ask that once the auction ends the winning bidder should make a $1000 deposit thru ebay within 48 hours and the balance paid within 14 days via cash on pickup or wire transfer.
