This 1962 Lincoln Continental is available today! I am adjusting my small Lincoln collection and offering this Sultana White sedan featuring Fawn Beige Leather with Fawn Rosette Matelassé Fabric, a classy, understated color combination. I have owned this car going on three years and have put probably 1,000 summer driving miles on it. This is a great "driver quality" sedan and am representing exactly that. If you are looking for a perfect sedan with no cosmetic blemishes this is probably not the exact fit. This sedan shows just over 54,000 miles which is possibly actual, and the odometer works correctly. I have driven this car over 80 mph on highway with one finger on the steering wheel and it drives effortlessly, as it should. The 430 V8 runs whisper quiet with standard dual exhaust, doesn't knock or smoke and the transmission is crisp and tight. The gas gauge does work, it is off a little bit though. There are no odors inside. All power windows work, a couple slower than others. Vent windows both crank in and out. Vacuum power door locks work. Am radio works. Climate control system will need attention, air does not work (not uncommon by any means) but is all there, the blower works but heat doesn't come out, that will take some vacuum line diagnostics for sure. Hydraulic powered wipers work great in all speeds. Front lighter works as well (I have driven this to my office and charge my cell phone off it all the time.) All interior lights work. Power steering is effortless, but it does have a leak underneath, either the hose or the pump (crank driven). It also drips some oil, from the pan more than likely. The radiator has developed a leak on the passenger side which comes and goes but it quite simply needs the radiator gone through. All headlights and taillights work as well. As I mentioned earlier, the paint does have several blemishes overall which are hard to see in the pictures, from 20 feet you wouldn't be able to tell. I'm guessing it was probably painted in enamel in the 1980's.; It's quite straight down both sides but there is some cracking and tape lines around handles and taillights and some scrapes and gouges that have been touched up. The trunk is in great shape and is not rotted like many are. The hood very similar with 1 or 2 small bubbles smaller than the size of a pencil eraser. The rear bumper has a couple dimples and the bumperette on the driver side is a little tweaked and have an extra one in the trunk. The drivers lower rear quarter panel is the most obvious flaw. Rear quarter panels on these cars were prone to rust. There are some areas which you will certainly address if you repaint it in the future. Even with some flaws, the great news is this car has fantastic solid rocker panels with nice pinch welds and a solid unibody with just some scaling over the years. The doors do not sag, no holes on underside of doors (common as well), the seams are tight and straight. The dashpad is in perfect condition with no cracks or warping which is rare. I just replaced the tires this year with a set of American Classic Radials with the correct size whitewall this car should have. I like things that are factory in appearance. If you're looking for a Continental in a great primary, classic color without spending $40 to $50k, this may do. A perfect example to drive as it is and work on as you go. Please reach out with any questions you may have I will be glad to answer them. Thanks for your interest and Good Luck! VIN Number is 2Y82H414498
